What to Expect
We are excited to be able to now offer headshots conferences, meetings, and events. You can expect to have 5 minutes to get your headshot taken, pick out the image that you love, and we will email it to you! You will also have an opportunity to download it via an online gallery within 24 hours. You will have full copyright to your headshot and it can be used in a variety of ways. You can use your headshot for marketing material such as business cards, Linkedin, website, etc- the sky is the limit! Images are lightly retouched, if you would like professional retouching ( fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles under your eyes, fly away hairs, look younger, thinner, etc) there is an additional fee.
How To Prepare For Your Headshot
First off, it’s o.k to just show up to your headshot just how you are. Our professional lighting setup is designed to enhance your natural skin tones and eye color. However, here are a few tips to get the most out of your headshot session.
- Get plenty of sleep the night before. Being well rested not only helps with your energy levels, it helps eliminate dark circles under your eyes and will give your skin a fresh glow.
- Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol and salty foods. By drinking plenty of water you are keeping your skin well hydrated and it will show in pictures. Alcohol and salty food not only deplete hydration, but it will also make your face appear puffy.
- Avoid any new skincare routine the week prior to your headshot. It is o.k to have exfoliated the night before, but just make sure it’s something your skin won’t have a reaction to.
