Winter Family Photos
Winter has always gets a bad reputation for not being the right time to go outside and get your family photos done. Winter family photos are so much fun to do! Sure, its warmer in the summer- but winter sky and snow are so beautiful! Maybe its time for you to reconsider what time of year to do family pictures!
Instead of telling you why Winter Family Photos are a good idea, I thought I would just show you some of the recent shoots I’ve done this winter. Remember this winter? It’s been seriously cold. These families braved the freezing or below temperatures to get one of a kind family photos that they can enjoy year round!
Starlet on Ice
Lexi and I have had a unique relationship. I first photographed her when she was just a few months old. Through the years, I have been able to capture her through the lens of my camera. I love her bright spirit and her willingness to trust me with her portraits!
A boy and his toys
Gabe is Lexi’s big brother. He is quiet and well- behaved. He is likes to be outside with Dad working on snow mobiles. I’ve also been photographing him for a number of years. I’ve been able to capture him as he’s grown. One of the first shoots we did, he was on a kid size 4 wheeler, now he’s onto bigger and better things.
It’s All About Family
I know Arlene and her family from helping out at the Boys and Girls Club. I have always been a fan of her and her creativity! Needless to say, I was more then excited for this photo shoot. That is, until I showed up and it was decided that it would be an outdoor shoot (it was -7 that day) However, we made the best of it with hand warmers, frequent warm up breaks and lots of jumping around!
